Cyber threat intelligence
Structured analysis of adversaries, campaigns, capabilities, intent, and the evidence needed for defensible assessments.
Shadowall Group is an independent think tank and open research platform developing and sharing research at the intersection of cybersecurity, national security, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies.
Our purpose is to turn complex security questions into structured knowledge that can inform practitioners, researchers, institutions, and decision-makers.
Six connected fields. One research mission.
Structured analysis of adversaries, campaigns, capabilities, intent, and the evidence needed for defensible assessments.
Threat-informed detection methods, lifecycle governance, correlation logic, and operational frameworks for defenders.
Research across AI system security, agentic risk, assurance, red teaming, governance, and defensive applications of AI.
Assessment of cyber operations, influence activity, economic and information pressure, geopolitical risk, strategic intent, and infrastructure resilience across hybrid conflict environments.
Clear, evidence-led perspectives that help leaders frame uncertainty, prioritize risk, and make security decisions.
Strategic analysis of quantum technologies, autonomous systems, advanced AI, space and cyber convergence, biotechnology, neurotechnology, human-machine interfaces, and other developments reshaping security and sovereignty.
Accountable research begins with identifiable contributors.
Yuval Sinay founded Shadowall Group as an independent think tank and open research platform connecting cybersecurity, national security, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies. His research interests include cyber threat intelligence, detection engineering, cyber attribution, AI security, hybrid and cognitive warfare, and the translation of complex security questions into practical defensive knowledge.
As founder, researcher, and contributor, he sets the research agenda, develops and maintains public knowledge repositories, and is responsible for the platform’s editorial standards and corrections.
Evidence-led, transparent, reproducible where possible.
Shadowall’s methodology adapts established principles from intelligence analytic tradecraft, threat-informed defense, cybersecurity risk management, and open research. It emphasizes source quality, uncertainty, alternative explanations, traceability, and practical defensive relevance.
State the research question, intended audience, scope, assumptions, and boundaries before collecting evidence.
Use lawful public sources, technical documentation, primary evidence, reproducible data, and relevant authoritative standards.
Assess source credibility, recency, independence, corroboration, potential bias, and important information gaps.
Separate facts from assumptions and judgments; test alternatives; identify uncertainty and competing explanations.
Map technical claims to observable evidence, test defensive recommendations, and seek review where appropriate.
Present key findings, methods, limitations, sources, confidence, publication date, and practical implications.
Monitor material changes, record corrections, update conclusions when evidence changes, and preserve revision history.
